Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the ASAFEVOYAGE website and the booking of private transfer and tour services in Portugal, setting out the parties' rights, obligations and liability limits.

1. Purpose, scope and acceptance

  • This website provides commercial information about private transfers, tours and related services delivered by ASAFEVOYAGE.
  • Submitting forms through the website constitutes a contact/quote request and does not, by itself, create a confirmed booking contract.
  • A binding booking only exists after written confirmation by ASAFEVOYAGE, subject to fleet availability, operational conditions and route safety requirements.

2. Eligibility and customer information duties

  • The customer represents that they have legal capacity to contract the services, or valid authority to act on behalf of the passenger/entity represented.
  • For proper service execution, customers must provide complete and accurate information (contact details, flight data, pickup/drop-off information, passenger count, luggage and special requirements).
  • Missing or inaccurate essential information may compromise service delivery and may lead to additional costs or inability to perform the service without ASAFEVOYAGE liability.

3. Booking process, pricing, payments and invoicing

  • Each request is reviewed and answered with a written proposal including service scope, total price, specific terms and validity period when applicable.
  • A booking is confirmed only after explicit acceptance of the proposal and, where required, receipt of deposit or full payment according to the communicated terms.
  • Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in euros and include only the items expressly stated in the proposal. Extraordinary requests, route changes or special periods may trigger fare adjustments.
  • Invoices are issued under applicable Portuguese law.

4. Changes, cancellations, delays and no-shows

  • Change requests (itinerary, timing, pickup point or vehicle type) should be submitted as early as possible and remain subject to availability and potential fare adjustments.
  • Cancellations may generate administrative and operational charges depending on notice period and costs already incurred to secure the service.
  • In case of no-show, significant delay without notice or missing valid contact methods at pickup time, full or partial booking charges may apply.
  • Where applicable, included waiting time is defined in the service proposal. Additional waiting time may be billed according to the terms previously communicated.

5. Service performance and limitation of liability

  • Customers must behave appropriately, use seat belts when applicable, comply with legal rules and follow driver instructions. ASAFEVOYAGE may refuse or interrupt service if safety or legality is at risk.
  • Luggage and special-item transport depends on vehicle capacity and prior disclosure by the customer. ASAFEVOYAGE is not liable for belongings left in the vehicle after service completion.
  • ASAFEVOYAGE is not liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events, including exceptional traffic, accidents, third-party failures, administrative restrictions and severe weather conditions.
  • ASAFEVOYAGE liability is limited to direct, proven and legally attributable damages, excluding loss of profits and indirect damages, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

6. Intellectual property, complaints and governing law

  • All website content (texts, images, trademarks, design and visual assets) is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be reproduced without prior written authorization.
  • Complaints should be submitted in writing to [email protected] including customer identification and booking reference for proper review and response within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Consumers may also use the Portuguese electronic complaints book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) and alternative dispute resolution information available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
  • These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If no amicable resolution is reached, the legally competent court in Portugal applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
